so yeah....IM BACK! with the ulcer worse than
ever and a terrible sore throat. cant really
talk loud. oh man. the class is gonna be hapy
cos for once i cant nag at them anymore.
so then:

STEP CAMP 2006.
the step camp damn rocked larh. Our instructor,
Din, is a very very fun and nice instructor. On the
first day, i reached school by 7 and met everyone
else going. Daniel, Ariel, Veron, Jos, Mildred,
Nicole, Chern yi and me. We boarded the bus
to Changi Coast Adventure Centre (CCAC).
The place where our sec 3s had their sec 3
adv camp. Try counting the number of airplanes
flying past. I tell you, you will lose count in
approximately 30min. There was alot of ants
in our dorms. cos i was the one sleeping in the
corner. And me, being sadistic as usual, sprayed
then with insecticide on the wall and they sort of
just freeze there then fall off themselves. I told
you im sadistic. xP

We were introduced to our group during breakfast.
There were 8 RV students and 8 thai students
from Samsen Wittayalai. My buddy is called Yui.
It's a two syllable word. We had some ice-breakers
where we taught them the papaya cheer which is
some sort like the banana cheer. They taught
us a dance called "kero kero" It is a frog which
is supposed to be Hello Kitty or somebody's
friend larh. The dance is really nice and i think
they are really sporting. It impressed everyone
including our camp chief, Polar. I love the Polar
cheer! haha. Our first activity is kayaking. I
think we did it for about 4 hrs. Its really fun
cos we have to get into one straight raft in the
middle of the sea. It's really windy and the wave hit
us and the kayaks go like in a kallang wave.
Didnt get tan at all. Grr...apart from that larh,
my arms really tired. And my right hand a
bit blue black lorh.

i hate the meal times the most cos w.e have to
wash our own trays which is very disgusting
cos the water is used by sooooo many ppl
and by dipping your tray in is getting it
dirtier instead of cleaner. That is pure torture.
The first day is just kayaking and then we bathe
and had sing-along where we learnt alot of
guai guai cheers. I like the maya, the instructor
who always lead us. she's really nice too. haha.
everyone's nice lorh. And cyril, the kuniang.
Give him 3 kuniang claps,
*clap* haiyo
*clap* hiya
*clap* haiyoyo

Cyril does the above in a really kuniang way
okay. Certified kuniang! Then we had review for
the day's activities then we went to our
dorms. it was really windy outside and when the
door opens, it's very cooling. cos im the one in
the ocrner next to the door. But the door was
closed and it's very very hot! I still have to fan
myself.

Second day woke up, prepared and had morning
assembly where we had flag raising. Singapore and
Thailand flag. First activity. Abseiling. I was like
the last in our group to go lorh. It's like you have to
walk down a wall with your legs perpendicular to
the wall. We have to control the rope ourselves.
Told to step at the edge which is a metal bar and
lower our upper body until in a sitting position
then step off and start walking down. and i did
it! haha okay. almost eveyone did it anyway.
But my arm felt even more painful now. After
me, we moved on to rock climbing. i managed to
climb to the top. whee! haha then we supposed to
let go and let the belayer lower us down. Then
Arm, Daniel's buddy, lowered me very fast.
And i was like "CAN YOU ALL PLS LOWER ME
SLOWER?!? MY FEET VERY SHORT CANNOT REACH
THE WALL!!!" haha okay. quite alot of ppl also
climbed to the top larh. Then next is the Challenge
Rope Course (CRC). We did this high element called
Wild Woosy which is like two ropes start from a
same platform then the ropes will widen until it
is two separate platforms in the end. Its very
dificult and requires alot of teamwork with your
buddy. You have to hold on to each other damn tight.
I think me and Yui did a pretty good job. We
did it in a fairly short time. Everyone passed this
station although Nicole and Wan (her buddy) fell
off at first. But they never gave up. The last thing
in the day is the Zipline or flying fox. It's actually quite
scary because we have to start at a 4 storey platform
and hold a small sand bag and drop it on a target
and try to hit the bull's eye. When i went out, the
sand bag slipped from my hand and it fell before
i can catch it and it was wayyyy off target. haha.
It's very fun! And veron got owned cos she went up
to take her watch and the instructor made her go
again. haha. Then same thing. bathe, sing-along, review
then sleep.

That night didnt have wind. But it was very cold in
the morning because it rained very hard in the night.
The third day, we went orienteering first. It is
actually map reading and compass reading skills.
It's okay larh, pretty essential i think. Then we did
outdoor cooking. Maggie mee and Milo. Very nice
although our food got ashes and blah blah. Dun even
want to think about what is inside. *shudders* haha
Keeping the fire there was very funny cos veron kept
blowing ashes into our eyes. After this, we went bicycling.
Although i knw how to cycle, i wasn't very confident
so i didnt cycle with the rest to East Coast Park. Left
with me, Ariel, Veron and Nicole in the camp site
to cycle on our own with Mr. Ong with us. About half
and hour later they came back and we had luncgh.
after lunch, we went rafting. Th knotting part was
super sian until many ppl fall asleep. xP The building
part was difficult. Took a long time and was slower than
group 1. But it started raining so we didnt get to go
rafting anyway. After we bathe we had camp fire.
Our item is one of RV's cheer modified plus
the dance "kero kero". It was short but i thought the
whole thing was awesome. Especially the dance cos
we even learnt the thai lyrics! Alot of cheering and now
is the ulcer pain+ sore throat. And going to lose my
voice. This morning we done mural painting. Thailand
and Singapore's friendship. Very nice theme.
Then went to YMCA for lunch and chern yi's dad
drove me and Yui home. THANK YOU CHERN YI!
Tmr gonna go to sentosa! whee (:
